The base character is the DAZ Michael 3 but this was not rendered in Poser. The scene was far to complex, so I rendered it in trueSpace 6.6. I exported the posed Michael 3 character from Poser as a 3ds file, and applied the textures in trueSpace. The hed didn't look real enough, so I did render that in Poser and pasted it into place in Photoshop as post production work. The coffin, vases, and lillies are from ArchiDOM, and the chairs are from 3D cafe. The vases were actually short and fat, but a little stretching and pulling got them to the form that I wanted. The walls and floors are just primitive cubes that I made highly reflective and then did a scanline ray trace.

This is from my friend Helen's funeral. The person this book is dedicated to. I sat on the other side, and the flowers were different. There were a few more people there, but this was about my thoughts, so I didn't want to muddy up the image with too many things to concentrate on. Just myself and the coffin were the key objects.
